Terms of Service — GramConnect

1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, accessing or using the GramConnect app or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. The service

GramConnect is a technology platform that connects riders and senders with independent third-party auto, taxi and delivery partners. We facilitate bookings; the transport and delivery services themselves are provided by these independent partners.

3. Accounts

You must register with accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

4. Bookings & fares

Estimated fares are shown before booking and may vary based on actual distance, time, route and waiting.
Additional charges such as tolls or parking may apply.
You agree to pay the full fare for completed trips and deliveries.

5. Payments & refunds

Payments can be made by cash, UPI, card or in-app wallet. Refunds for valid cancellations or service failures are processed to the original payment method within a reasonable period, subject to verification.

6. Parcel & shipping rules

You must accurately describe parcel contents. Illegal, hazardous, perishable-without-notice or prohibited items are not allowed.
GramConnect may refuse or return parcels that violate these rules.
Declared value and any insurance options apply as shown at the time of booking.

7. User conduct

You agree to treat drivers and partners with respect, not to misuse the platform, and not to engage in fraudulent, abusive or unlawful behaviour. Violations may result in suspension.

8. Cancellations

You may cancel a booking before pickup. A cancellation fee may apply if a driver has already been assigned or has travelled towards your location.

9. Limitation of liability

GramConnect acts as an intermediary platform. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the acts or omissions of independent drivers and partners, or for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability is limited to the value of the relevant booking.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, misuse the service, or for safety and legal reasons. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at [your city — to be provided].
